Who can apply for the Hardman trade program?
Hardman’s trade program is open to interior designers, decorators, architects, contractors, and other trade professionals sourcing handcrafted hardwood furniture for homes, apartments, cafés, hotels, lounges, and other hospitality spaces.
Do you offer additional discounts for larger projects?
Yes. Larger projects qualify for additional discounts as well as coordination for bulk delivery.
Is Hardman furniture suited for commercial and hospitality use?
Yes. Hardman furniture is built from solid hardwood and finished for long-term use, making it well suited to hospitality and contract settings. What samples and specification assets do you provide?
We can provide finish samples, spec sheets, CAD files, and 3D models to support sourcing, specification, renderings, and floor plans.
What are your lead times for standard and custom pieces?
Standard pieces have a lead time of 16 to 21 weeks. Lead times for custom and semi-custom pieces vary depending on the project.
What woods and finishes do you offer?
Hardman furniture is available in FSC-certified oak, walnut, ash, and iroko.
All indoor pieces are finished with OSMO Polyx Oil, a natural hardwax oil that enhances the natural grain while also being water-resistant, easy to clean, and helps protect against moisture, temperature changes, and everyday stains.
All outdoor pieces are treated with Rubio DuroGrit, a plant-based exterior wood finish designed to protect against weathering, UV exposure, and daily outdoor use.
Our standard finish is Matt, with Half Gloss available at no extra charge. For walnut pieces, we also offer a Teak Oil finish, which makes the natural wood tones warmer and more pronounced. For oak pieces, we offer a White Oil finish, which softens oak’s natural yellow tone.
All wood samples are double-sided to show both sheen options.
How custom can you get?
Every piece from our standard line can be tailored to fit your project. Common adjustments include:
- dimensions
- hardwood
- wood character (more or less visible knots)
- finish
- upholstery fabrics
Beyond adjustments to our standard line, we can also take on fully custom work or make significant modifications to pieces in our collection, including:
- special finishes
- upholstery details
- custom fabrics
- non-standard sizing
For fully custom, one-of-a-kind pieces, we can work from a sketch, reference images, or project brief to develop a piece that fits your project.
Do you offer COM (customer’s own material)?
Yes. COM is available for all upholstered pieces.
Do you offer white-glove delivery?
Yes. White-glove delivery is available for projects across all 48 contiguous states.
What warranty do you offer?
All Hardman furniture comes with our very own 5-year guarantee. This guarantee covers the structural integrity of each piece and all of its components, as well as faults or defects from manufacturing.
For outdoor pieces, a 1-year guarantee applies due to exposure to weather and natural wear.
Depending on the nature of the claim, we will provide a replacement part, partial refund, or a complete new unit.
